Hard to tell, it came in broken

I own a busy breakfast cafe, and the specs on this toaster look like just what I'm looking for. However, I received it broken as a forklift punched through the container, bashed in the side of the toaster and broke all the elements. I haven't had any resolution yet, it's been waiting to be picked up for two weeks now, and KaTom won't issue a replacement until it happens. I'm pretty frustrated, we just kicked off our high season, we are screaming busy, and no one is communicating with me. But I bet it's a great toaster ;)

We bought this unit and installed it in 2019. It lasted over 5 years under heavy use. Its now on the fritz, so we're going to buy one to replace it.

We been using this product since we open .

We normally used 2 Vollrath Drop in Refrigerated Display Case for our Poke ,its been around for 4 years and the only problem is that after being in service for so long the freon dissipated. it cause the temperature to dropped down .Charging freon cause a lot .

Hot Handel

Overall this pan is quite good. However, despite their claim that the handle does not get hot, it gets very hot. So much so I need a hot pad to handle it. That's why I only give it a 2-star rating.

Best tri-ply buy.

Vollrath's tribute line is the thickest, most even-heating tri-ply clad cookware that I have found. I occasionally see a review that complains about the bottom not being perfectly flat, but the item I received was flat on the bottom. Large skillets let you spread the food out so it browns instead of steams. Properly used, Tribute pans don't scorch, they're as even-heating as your burner will permit, and if you get the heat right, they don't stick. No bare metal pan is as nonstick as Teflon under all circumstances. If you need to start with a cold pan, Stainless Steel is not the best choice. But, correctly pre-heated, a touch of oil, stainless releases quite well indeed.

Great pan but coating only lasted a year

This has been my favorite pan by far. It was used in a home setting, but the coating started failing at 9 months of use and is now ready for replacement at 12 months of use. We followed the care and use instructions in the user guide. Given the price of the pan, I expected a longer lifespan.

Excellent !

I use these pans daily, and this USA-made product is superior in quality, temperature distribution, cooking surface, and weight distribution. The only problem I encountered are the optional rubber handles, which can't be installed without splitting. The pans are wonderful.

Impossible to Install

Followed the instructions EXACTLY as included on packaging, and they split immediately. Contacted "Technical Support", but with the identical outcome. There is CLEARLY something wrong with the design, the compound used, or the manufacturing process. These are worthless for what they were designed for.

NICE MACHINE - WORKS VERY WELL

The drink machine arrived safe and sound. Packaging was adequate. Set unit up as described in the instructions were easy. Instructions were very simplified and easy to follow. First batch of margaritas was great. Followed a recipe off the concentrate of choice since all the ratios were calculated. Machine ran for several hours. Adjusted the slush consistency to level 3. July 4th this machine operated without a hick up.

What I expected, only bigger.

This was an accidental order. I had intended to replace my "battle-damaged" Z4012, but ordered the 14" instead. I called to find out what the return/restock hit would be. While I was mulling the return over, my wife mentioned that a couple of her recipes come close to overflowing the 12" (imagine that!). We decided to keep it and order the Z4012. Finally had the chance to use it and it worked perfectly for her. Same great ceramic coating I expected and the extra size she wanted. I do have to mention that if you are a residential user, with a normal sized range or cook top, you may be shocked by just how BIG a 14" fry is. A 12" is bigger than what you get with most sets {10 or 11") and makes you adjust which burners you use in what order. A 14" is really big and takes up two burners, period.

Solid Straw Dispenser

I bought unwrapped straws, and needed a dispenser. This one is built solidly enough, but the straw diameter is too big for this dispenser. I made some modifications to the interior and it is working better.

Fast service and just what I needed and expected.

best one out there but room for improvement

The clamp seems to be some kind of alloy and the screw is steel. Sooner or later the thread in the alloy will strip as happened to another user. It is nice that the grater can be pulled off the clamp base easily for cleaning without having to remove the clamp base from the counter. However, the fit how the grater sits on the clamp base could be much better, it is quite wobbly. I am happy with the grating performance.

So, I think I love this thing!

First Use: Could not believe that my fried eggs did not stick even a little bit! So much lighter than my 50+ year old cast iron egg skillet. Never thought I'd prefer anything to cast iron, but this thing is da bomb!

Excellent product

This is a quality product. Also the folks that pack and handle this product should be commended for the care they take in shipping. I've used other companies and have been disappointed.

SO DISAPPOINTED

We were so happy to find a STAINLESS STEEL baking/roasting pan. We asked the sales clerk if there was any problem with the pan warping before making the purchase. We used the pan once and it WARPED big time while in the oven. The contents just ran together. The other reviews on here are old, so perhaps the pan is now a different quality. The restaurant supply store where we purchased it advised once then the item is used it cannot be returned. Attempts to contact the manufacturer were not successful.

Well designed & well balanced.

This Frying Pan has been designed wth a flat bottom & a lightweight handle. This design provides for more even burner contact on electric stoves. It also mitigates the issue of uneven heat due to uneven burner contact. The light weight handle mitigates the issue of the pan tipping to one side. Every thing I was looking for in a well designed product.

Perfect for proofing

Great to cover yeasted goods (croissants, viennoiserie, cinnamon buns, dinner rolls) for proving -- keeps moisture in, gives them room and won't stick. Great once they're baked to travel with too.

Adjustments to accommodate baskets

I like the quality of the lid. However I had read a review from someone else that they had to make adjustments to accommodate the baskets and I thought maybe that had been addressed. I can't give 5 stars being the problem hasn't been fixed.

Bad purchase. Do not repeat my mistake

Pan may be great but the handle is uncomfortable and does get hot enough to require a pot holder.

These are great and exactly what I ordered. I called to verify size on them and they were perfect I had to give a lower star because I ordered 14 of them and only received 3 right away. The rest have been on backorder for about 1.5 months. That's very inconvenient especially when it didn't tell me that when I placed the initial order

This brand is better for stacking: it has corner guards to keep the one above from sliding. I use it to proof yeasted items and it is so much more convenient and efficient than wraps.

My favorite non stick skillet

I cook almost everything in cast iron, except omelets. For those I use Vollrath skillets. They hold up best. I like the silicone handle. I like Vollrath better than Scanpan for three times the price.

I would buy this product again.

I bought this for my son in law for Christmas who is a fabulous cook. He carefully seasoned it, and got it blackened the way he wanted it. He tells me all the time how much he loves his pan, and is his favorite Christmas gift!

Perfect size and cookie sheet I have been looking for. Much heavier than I expected. Now I understand why I could not find it for about $10!

Handles are attached to the wrong sides no way to remove it from oven,picture showing right position ,but on my they're attached to the sides.Also all margins not polished well,easy to cut fingers

Love this skillet!

Very good skillet for browning and sautéing . If seasoned with coconut oil it will be non stick. Heat skillet , add oil after skillet hot. Use medium to medium low heat as this skillet gets very hot very fast and maintains heat. Very even cooking. The handle on this skillet is uncomfortable , but easily remedied by putting a silicon grip over handle. I found one made by Lodge that fit. Overall an excellent pan to have for any level of cooking, just remember to use LOW to medium low heat!

Pencil Dispenser

I made my mom a pencil dispenser as a gift (she's a teacher) and it turned out great, she loves it... So much that she wanted me to make another one as a gift for a friend. Holds up to all the kids using it and it looks cute on her desk!

Just what we needed

We bought these insulated serving spoons to use in our buffet crock pots so we can leave them in hot dishes without the handles getting too hot. They should work great!

vollrath pans

I purchased an 8" nonstick Vollrath fry pan 5 years ago. It still performs as well as when I first bought it. I was needing to replace some pans and purchased a 12" and 14" non stick fry pan and a 2.75 qt sauce pan. Extremely happy with them. If you're more interested in performance and durability rather than looks, I would definitely recommend them. I would recommend spending a little more for the better quality coating. I ordered pans from another on line supplier and they got chipped in the shipping and I returned them. I discovered KaTom and ordered the pans with the better coating. I could get the same pans with shipping at KaTom for the cost of pans only from the other supplier.

I purchased this set for myself 2 years ago and love them. I purchased a set this year for my grandson for Christmas.

Good product with a flawed end.

Cookie sheet arrived on time. I have baked 1 batch of cookies so far. Turned out well. Only flaw with the pan is that it was rough on one end. I used a metal file to smooth the edge. Not a big deal for me, but might be for someone else.

Product is used for a community soup kitchen. Cooking for over 100 people. Definitely makes the job easier.
