Vollrath Z4012 Description
The Vollrath Z4012 Wear-Ever® frying pan has a removeable Cool Handle® sleeve that does not transfer heat and can endure temperatures as high as 450 degrees Fahrenheit. This dish has a durable CeramiGuard II® nonstick coating that prevents food from sticking, is PFOA free, and can handle contact with metal utensils. To provide support, EverTite™ rivets connect the handle to the aluminum alloy pan.

Vollrath is the best
I have both Scanpan and Vollrath non stick skillets. Scanpan is about 4 times the price. I like my Vollraths better. It retains it's non stick ability for over 5 years now, although just for home use, I'm not a restaurant cook. It will tolerate metal utensils, such as whisks but I wouldn't use anything aggressive in it. I typically don't even use soap in it, just wipe it out with a sponge and hot water.

vollrath pans
I purchased an 8" nonstick Vollrath fry pan 5 years ago. It still performs as well as when I first bought it. I was needing to replace some pans and purchased a 12" and 14" non stick fry pan and a 2.75 qt sauce pan. Extremely happy with them. If you're more interested in performance and durability rather than looks, I would definitely recommend them. I would recommend spending a little more for the better quality coating. I ordered pans from another on line supplier and they got chipped in the shipping and I returned them. I discovered KaTom and ordered the pans with the better coating. I could get the same pans with shipping at KaTom for the cost of pans only from the other supplier.

An excellent fry pan
We are very pleased with this product. The non-stick finish is excellent as is the overall quality. A handy, practical pan for everday use.
I would buy this product again.
This pan is a comfortable weight for me and it hugs my flat cooktop. I would like a cover that fits.
