Vollrath 46060 Description
The Vollrath 46060 chafer heater is an ideal warmer for heating dishes at weddings, banquets, or other social functions. Because it is electrically powered, users do not have to keep up with a fuel can or relight extinguished flames. This heater has a 120-watt LO setting and a 230-watt HI setting to accommodate various applications. Using a spring-loaded element, the heater outputs heat right into the water pan through direct contact. For added safety, the power cord is grounded.

Beats using sterno!
We've been using this heater at our restaurants for the past 5 years, but the reason why I haven't given a 5 star review is because we had issues with some of the units, but overall, it more than pays for itself after a few months.

Beats sternos but...
Had a few that quit working after a couple of years of usage, so I guess I got my money's worth, but we're trying a new drop in chafer with a built in heater now.
