The Ice-O-Matic ICE0806HA ice machine head is air-cooled, meaning it requires 6 inches of clearance on either side, but is very energy- and water-efficient. This model requires only 19.5 gallons of water for each 100 pounds of ice, and is ENERGY STAR certified. The Harvest Assist feature harvests ice quickly, saving more energy and ensuring reliable ice production.

The ICE0806HA makes half-cube ice at a rate of up to 897 pounds per day under ideal conditions. The incoming water can be filtered by the IFQ1 water filter, which is sold separately. This filter ensures that sediment is all removed and can also help prevent the buildup of scale inside the ice machine. To further assist with sanitation, the Pure Ice® antibacterial prevention helps inhibit the growth of fungus and bacteria on the internal components of the machine.
