This Cambro CPU245464VS4480 starter shelving unit measures 54 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 64 inches high and is comprised of four shelving tiers with one solid and three vented shelf plates. While the solid shelf offers a flat, solid surface for small objects, irregularly shaped items, linens, and leaky ingredients, the louvered shelves improve airflow for perishables. Each shelf can support 800 pounds, though storing more than 2,000 pounds on this unit overall will weaken the posts. Though this unit requires assembly in the field, it's simpler to set up than Camshelving Elements and Basics Plus series because dovetails are molded into the two preassembled post kits.
