For versatile storage applications, the Cambro CPU183664VS4480 Camshelving Premium shelving unit has three vented shelves and one solid shelf. Gaps in the vented shelves encourage air circulation around stored items, keeping cold storage properly cooled and preventing dust buildup in pantry areas. The solid shelf provides a place for linen storage, small and irregularly shaped items, or leaky products, and while each of these shelves can hold 800 pounds, the unit supports as much as 2,000 pounds altogether.

The shelf plates on this 36-inch by 18-inch unit are made of polypropylene, resisting damage from moisture, humidity, chemicals, and food acid. This smooth material can be wiped clean, and for tougher cleaning jobs, the plates are dishwasher safe. Between cleanings, the plates are protected by Camguard® antimicrobial—an agent that inhibits bacterial, mold, and fungal growth to help prevent stains, odors, and product degradation.

Because this Cambro CPU183664VS4480 starter shelving unit is a Premium series model, it's designed for use in high-volume operations, supporting frequent deliveries and heavy products. This series is also known for its molded-in dovetails, which streamline the assembly process. The shelving unit comes with two factory-assembled post kits and four traverses; all these components are made of heavy-duty steel with a corrosion-resistant polypropylene coating.
