The solid shelf has a rigid, flat surface that supports linens, leak-prone goods, and small or oddly shaped items. Since air circulates evenly across the vented shelves' surfaces, perishables and bulk ingredients can be stored safely. Each shelf measures 48 inches wide by 21 inches deep, and to withstand long-term use, the shelves' polypropylene construction resists rust, corrosion, and damage from salt water and harsh chemicals. These shelves can be wiped clean or removed, then washed in a dishmachine when they're dirty. Camguard® antimicrobial protection inhibits bacterial growth between these cleanings.
