Air can circulate through the vented shelves' slotted surfaces and around product to eliminate dust and moisture, creating an ideal storage space for perishables. Despite their structural differences, each corrosion-resistant polypropylene shelf measures 42 inches wide by 21 inches deep and accommodates 800 pounds. To avoid structural damage, no more than 2,000 pounds overall should be stored on this shelving system.

To accommodate storage requirements for a wide product range, the Cambro CPU214264VS4480 starter shelving system endures temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit for dishroom, pantry, walk-in freezer or cooler, and loading dock use. In storage, built-in Camguard® antimicrobial protection slows fungal and microbial growth that could cause stains or odors and impact storage safety. This shelving system can be assembled quickly and comes with the necessary components for setup: eight traverses, molded-in dovetails, and two preassembled post kits. Once put together, this unit measures 42 inches wide by 21 inches deep by 64 inches high, providing space for shelf adjustment.
