Each rust-resistant polypropylene shelf in the Cambro CPU212464VS4480 Camshelving® starter shelving unit measures 24 inches wide by 21 inches deep and accommodates 800 pounds. However, this shelving system shouldn't be loaded with more than 2,000 pounds. With its one solid and three louvered shelf plates, this unit offers more versatile storage options than fully vented or solid shelving systems. The solid shelf's gapless, flat surface supports variously sized inventory, catches spills, and prevents linens from becoming creased. Its three vented shelf plates improve airflow to eliminate dust and moisture buildup. To protect stored contents from contamination between cleaning cycles, Camguard® antimicrobial protection slows fungal and bacterial spread. When the shelves are dirty, they can be removed, wiped clean, and washed in a dishmachine.

To ensure shelves have ample room for adjustment along the posts as stock is rotated, the Cambro CPU212464VS4480 starter shelving system measures 64 inches high. This shelving unit endures temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit so product can be stored appropriately in pantries, dishrooms, coolers, and freezers. Though this unit comes unassembled, it can be set up quickly using the included preassembled post kits, traverses, and molded-in dovetails.
