True Refrigeration TSSU-48-12-HC Description

The True TSSU-48-12-HC sandwich and salad prep table has a durable stainless steel front, top, and sides. A 1134-inch-wide polyethylene cutting board spans the length of the prep table to provide a clean and durable surface where employees can assemble salads and sandwiches. Included with the unit, 12 sixth-size polycarbonate food pans sit in the top compartment. These pans are 4 inches deep, and the equipment also accommodates 6-inch-deep pans.

Since the refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, the True TSSU-48-12-HC prep table is more environmentally friendly than models with traditional refrigerants. The unit's capillary tube system provides accurate temperature recovery to maintain all held products between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors offer improved energy efficiency and produce less heat than traditional motors. Each time the compressor turns on, the fan motor reverses direction for 20 seconds. This feature removes dust, dirt, and debris from the condensing coil, keeping it clean so the unit operates efficiently. Along with routine maintenance, this self-cleaning mechanism ensures the unit produces cool temperatures using minimal energy.

  • Can't go wrong with True

  • Excellent Product-Great Value-USA Made :)

By Sassy Service Tech on March 28, 2022

"True makes a good, valuable product but you HAVE TO DO MAINTENANCE! It irritates me when owners write poor reviews on good equipment. I can guarantee the negative review of the equipment is due to either improper installation or failure to perform maintenance. Every restaurant/bar should have their refrigeration maintenance performed at least once yearly by qualified professionals, REFRIGERATION mechanics/technicians. This piece of equipment with good maintenance should last you 10 years. If it lasts longer that is great but with regular use ANY restaurant/bar owner should expect to replace their refrigeration equipment at ten years. Everyday that equipment makes you money, you need to invest it back into your equipment. As a technician myself I can tell you 80% of my service calls are because the equipment was not given proper maintenance. If you invest in maintenance, you are investing in the success of your business. **Remember, refrigeration equipment runs 24 hours a day/365 days a year**"
  • Sad for an "American Made" product

By The kitchen guy on August 23, 2018

"Both door seals failed after just 8 months from obvious factory defect. Company said "Yup, they failed and it'll be $80 to fix them!" Way to stand behind your product."
