Follett HCD710AHT Description
The Follet HCD710AHT Horizon Elite™ ice machine head creates Chewblet® ice—a compressed nugget ice that's chewable. As an air-cooled, self-contained condenser, it mounts on top of ice and beverage dispensers. It features a quiet harvest cycle that doesn't interrupt customers in nearby seating areas. The unit is low maintenance; frequent bearing inspection and replacement aren't required. In 24 hours, it can produce 759 pounds of ice at an ambient temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit, and users can manage operations with the LED operating status and diagnostic display on the front of the unit.
To ensure good ice taste and odor, the Follet HCD710AHT commercial ice machine head removes scale-producing, dissolved solids. This mechanism avoids added internal treatment and increases time between descaling. On components that touch water, Agion® antimicrobial protection slows bacterial growth between cleanings, and its sealed design defends against biofilm formation. To reduce operator maintenance, it includes semi-automatic cleaning and sanitation.
