This Cambro CPU184272V5480 starter shelving system is part of the Camshelving® Premium series, which is stronger and simpler to assemble than Cambro's Elements and Basics Plus series. Fully assembled, it measures 42 inches wide by 18 inches deep by 72 inches high and is comprised of five shelving levels. While each level can support 800 pounds, this unit has a 2,000-pound full-load capacity. Traverses, dovetails, and two post kits with four steel and polypropylene posts are included with this shelving system, and unlike the Elements and Basics Plus series, the dovetails are molded into the preassembled post kits to save time in setup. To meet various products' storage needs, this system endures temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, and because the traverses and posts are coated with corrosion-resistant polypropylene, they resist rust and corrosion in humid environments.

Each shelving tier in the Cambro CPU184272V5480 starter shelving unit has a louvered structure that lets air pass through the shelves to surround stored contents, eliminate moisture and dust accumulation, and maintain temperatures. These smooth polypropylene shelves resist rust and corrosion and are impervious to saltwater and harsh chemicals to protect perishables and bulk ingredients during storage. When the shelves are dirty, they can be wiped clean or washed in a dishmachine for thorough sanitization. Between these cleaning cycles, antimicrobial protection inhibits fungal, microbial, and bacterial spread. For versatility, operators can adjust the traverses to reposition the shelves as inventory changes, ensuring new products have ample storage space.
