To secure its five shelf tiers, the Cambro CPU244272V5480 polymer shelving unit is equipped with four steel posts with polypropylene coating. The posts come preassembled with molded-in dovetails and traverses to facilitate speedy installation. With its speckled gray appearance, this unit matches other Camshelving® units as well as common kitchen themes. As with other units in the Premium series, this structure is strong enough to handle heavy supplies and repeated use; it's easier to install than Camshelving Elements and Camshelving Basics Plus units.

The Cambro CPU244272V5480 louvered shelving unit is made of polypropylene—a material safe in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit. This material also is durable and resistant to rusting, corroding, and peeling, and the unit can be used to hold supplies and produce in pantries, freezers, or dishrooms as needed. Openings in the shelf plates help provide uniform product temperatures by promoting airflow through the gaps and around stored items.
