The Cambro CPU215472V5480 louvered shelving unit is equipped with five shelf tiers that each can accommodate 800 pounds of contents, though the unit itself shouldn't be loaded with more than 2,000 pounds, overall. This size enables it to accommodate bulk ingredients, kitchen supplies, and bagged goods as needed. Because it's safe in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, it can be used near prep stations, in freezers, and in numerous places throughout the kitchen. With its polypropylene construction, it's durable for repeated use and resists peeling, rusting, and corroding. More durable than Camshelving® Basics Plus and Camshelving Elements units, this unit is part of the Camshelving Premium line.
Simple to install, the Cambro CPU215472V5480 polymer shelving unit is equipped with molded-in dovetails and two preassembled post kits. Four steel posts with polypropylene exteriors attach to the shelving levels for stability. Designed with louvered surfaces, the shelf plates enable even airflow to prevent dust and moisture accumulation. Camguard® antimicrobial protection integrated into the shelf plates slows mold and bacterial spread.
