Bakemax BAS36O Description
The Bakemax BAS36O gas range has six 30,000-BTU burners and a standard oven base, and because the top is configured with open-top burners, most staff members should have the knowledge needed to cook on this unit. Burners are positioned with even heat distribution in mind, and the large flame spread works well with small and large pots. Each burner has its own pilot ignition and is positioned under cast iron grates. On the grates, spill-over bowls keep messes contained and reflect heat back to the surface. After food is cooked, it can be plated on the full-width, 6-inch-deep plating rail.
Because the standard oven in the base of this Bakemax BAS36O commercial gas range doesn't heat as evenly as a convection oven, it's often used to finish dishes from the range top, browning or melting product quickly. The temperature in the oven is adjustable on a thermostat, with a range between 150 and 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Enameled with porcelain, the oven interior resists food buildup and corrosion.
