The Southbend S24E 4-burner natural gas range has a standard oven that operates at 35,000 BTUs per hour. The range's cooktop is built with four 28,000 BTU open burners. There are four removable, cast iron grate tops, and the rear can hold a stock pot that is up to 14-inches in diameter. For thorough cleaning, crumb drawers sit under the burners and easily remove. With the stainless steel front, sides, and removable shelf, cleaning is simpler.
This range has a U-shaped, heavy-duty oven burner that distributes heat evenly throughout the cavity. For safety, a flame failure safety device cuts off the gas supply if the pilot light goes out. It also has two-position rack guides with one removable rack. The snap action thermostat has a range of 175 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. Since the Southbend S24E 4-burner natural gas range has 6-inch tall legs, keeping the area under the unit clean is simple.
