Designed with four 42-inch by 24-inch shelves, the Cambro CPU244284V4PKG Camshelving® Premium shelving unit can hold 2,000 pounds. Its shelf plates are constructed of polypropylene—strong polymer that resists damage from chemicals, moisture, and humidity. Because this material is dishwasher safe, the shelf plates can be cleaned thoroughly between wipe downs. Camguard® antimicrobial protection integrated into the plates inhibits bacterial, fungal, and mold growth, reducing the risk of stains, odors, and product degradation. Louvered with gaps to promote uniform airflow, these shelves keep temperatures uniform in walk-in freezers and refrigerators while preventing dust accumulation in pantries.
Safe in environments between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, the Cambro CPU244284V4PKG starter shelving unit can be installed in humid dishrooms, walk-ins, and pantries. Meant for high-volume operations, it supports storage applications with frequent daily deliveries and heavy bagged or boxed goods. It's part of the Premium series, which is easier to assemble than Cambro's Elements and Basics Plus models, and it comes with eight traverses, unassembled post kits, and molded-in dovetails. Durable and corrosion resistant, the traverses and posts are made of steel with a polypropylene finish.
