Made with four levels of shelving, the Cambro CPU214284V4PKG Camshelving® Premium louvered shelf unit can hold a maximum of 2,000 pounds. Its shelf plates are made of polypropylene—a durable plastic that resists damage from humidity, moisture, and chemicals. This material is dishwasher safe, so the shelf plates can be thoroughly cleaned. An antimicrobial agent integrated into the shelf plates helps prevent stains, odors, and product degradation by inhibiting mold, bacterial, and fungal growth. Vented with gaps to promote air circulation, these shelves prevent dust buildup in pantries and keep temperatures uniform in walk-in coolers and freezers.
Safe in environments between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, the Cambro CPU214284V4PKG starter shelving unit can be installed in walk-ins, dry pantries, and humid dishrooms. It's made for high-volume operations, supporting frequent deliveries and heavy products. Easier to assemble than Cambro's Basics Plus and Elements series models, this unit has molded-in dovetails in its unassembled posts. It comes with eight traverses, which securely hold the shelf plates in place on the posts. These traverses, along with the posts, are made of polypropylene-coated steel.
