The Cambro CPU214884V4PKG Camshelving® Premium shelving unit holds 2,000 pounds and has four levels of vented shelving. This shelf style has gaps to promote air circulation, preventing dust accumulation in dry storage areas and maintaining cold temperatures in walk-in freezers and refrigerators. The shelf plates are made of polypropylene—a strong plastic that resists moisture and chemical damage. Because this material is dishwasher safe, the shelf plates can be sanitized between regular cleanings. Camguard® antimicrobial protection is molded into the shelf plates to inhibit bacterial growth that could lead to stains, odors, and product degradation.
Safe to be installed in environments ranging from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, the Cambro CPU214884V4PKG starter shelving unit can be used in dry pantries, walk-in units, and humid dishrooms. It's engineered for high-volume operations, so it supports heavy products and repeated deliveries. An alternative to Cambro's Elements and Basics Plus series, this 48-inch-wide by 21-inch-deep unit's molded-in dovetails simplify assembly. It also comes with unassembled post kits and eight traverses, which are made of steel with a polypropylene exterior.
