Engineered to improve airflow, each shelf on the Cambro CPU186064V5480 Camshelving® Premium starter shelving unit features louvered shelf plates. Consistent airflow is uniform for produce, and it can help maintain temperatures and eliminate moisture and dust accumulation. As much as 800 pounds of bulk ingredients, bagged and boxed product, and perishables can be stored on each tier, but no more than 2,000 pounds should be stored on the unit as a whole. For versatility, the shelves can be raised or lowered along the posts as stock is rotated to provide sufficient space for various products. Constructed of rust- and corrosion-resistant polypropylene, the shelves are impervious to saltwater and harsh chemicals. Embedded antimicrobial protection inhibits the growth of mildew, mold, and fungi between regular cleanings, and when sanitizing is required, the shelves can be removed and run through a dishmachine.

Safe in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, the Cambro CPU186064V5480 starter shelving unit is compatible with dishroom, freezer, cooler, and pantry storage. Along with the shelves, its posts and traverses are coated with rust- and corrosion-resistant polypropylene, enabling the unit to be stored in humid environments. This 60-inch-wide by 18-inch-deep by 64-inch-high structure is speckled gray to match other Premium shelving systems for uniformity, and it includes all the hardware to complete setup: traverses, dovetails, and two post kits. The steel and polypropylene posts ship assembled, and unlike Cambro's Elements and Basics Plus shelving series, dovetails are molded in, so operators don't have to attach them in the field.
