To withstand daily deliveries and repeated loading and retrieval, the Cambro CPU246064V5480 Camshelving® Premium starter shelving unit accommodates 2,000 pounds and offers five shelving levels that support 800 pounds each. The 60-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep shelves can be adjusted along the posts to create space for new products as inventory changes. Each shelf has louvered shelf plates that encourage uniform airflow to minimize dust and moisture buildup. Their corrosion-resistant polypropylene construction resists the effects of saltwater and harsh chemicals, and they are built with Camguard® antimicrobial agent to inhibit fungal and bacterial growth and spread that could form stains or odors. These shelves can be wiped clean or sanitized in a dishmachine as needed.

Because it's part of the Premium series, the Cambro CPU246064V5480 starter shelving unit includes two preassembled post kits with molded-in dovetails to expedite setup. With Cambro's Basics Plus and Elements series, operators must attach these dovetails in the field, which can be a laborious task. Traverses also ship with this system, providing all the necessary hardware for setup. Fully assembled, this unit measures 64 inches high and is speckled gray to match other Premium components and equipment. It's safe in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit for pantry, walk-in freezer or refrigerator, and loading dock use, and its polypropylene-coated posts and traverses resist corrosion and rust in humid environments.
