The Cambro CPU246064V4480 Camshelving® Premium shelving unit has four levels of shelf plates, each of which accommodate 800 pounds. Altogether, this 60-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep model shouldn't be loaded with more than 2,000 pounds. Gaps in the louvered shelves encourage even air circulation, eliminating dust buildup in dry storage and maintaining uniform temperatures in walk-in refrigerators and freezers. With the durable polypropylene construction, the shelf plates resist damage from food acids, humidity, moisture, and chemicals. It's safe in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit to provide versatility to accommodate installation in pantries, dishrooms, and walk-ins. If the plates get dirty, they can be wiped down or washed in a commercial dishmachine, and between cleanings, Camguard® antimicrobial protection inhibits mold and bacterial growth.

The Cambro CPU246064V4480 starter shelving unit is part of Cambro's Premium series—a strong, easy-to-assemble alternative to Basics Plus and Elements models. It comes with all the components needed for assembly: two factory-assembled post kits, eight traverses, and molded-in dovetail joints. Made of steel and coated in polypropylene, the posts and traverses are strong and corrosion resistant. The molded-in dovetails minimize assembly steps because they don't require on-site assembly, while the overall construction supports heavy products and frequent product rotation better than the more affordable Cambro shelf series.
