As a flexible option for high-volume operations, the Cambro CPU244284VS5PKG Camshelving® Premium starter shelving unit has five vented shelves and one solid shelf. Gaps in the vented shelves encourage uniform airflow, preventing dust accumulation in dry storage and keeping temperatures uniform in walk-in refrigerator and freezers. The remaining shelf has a solid design that works well with linens and potentially leaky products, and this surface also contains small and irregularly shaped items.

With their durable polypropylene constructions, the shelf plates resist damage from humidity, food acids, and chemicals. It's safe in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, which supports installation in pantries, walk-ins, and dishrooms. If the plates get dirty, they can be wiped clean or removed and washed in a commercial dishmachine. To inhibit bacterial and mold growth, Camguard® antimicrobial agent integrated into the shelf plates reduces the risk of product degradation, odors, and stains.

The Cambro CPU244284VS5PKG vented/solid shelving unit is part of Cambro's Premium series—a more durable, easy-to-assemble alternative to Elements and Basics Plus series. It comes with all the parts needed for assembly, including unassembled post kits and 10 traverses. Because the posts and traverses are made of steel with polypropylene coating, they're durable and corrosion resistant. Their molded-in dovetail joints don't require any assembly, unlike the more affordable series. Fully assembled, this shelf has a 42-inch width, 24-inch depth, and 84-inch height.
