Versatile enough to be used in walk-in freezers and coolers, dishrooms, and pantries, the Cambro CBU215464V4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit endures temperatures ranging from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, and its polypropylene shelf plates resist rusting and corroding. This 54-inch-wide by 21-inch-deep by 64-inch-high structure is comprised of four levels of vented shelf plates and can hold 1,800 pounds when fully loaded. Its top shelf accommodates 400 pounds, while each lower shelf has a 600-pound capacity. To balance the unit if it's stored on irregular surfaces, its leveling feet are built onto the composite posts. Preassembled post connectors and wedges, eight traverses, and four bags of eight dovetails are included with this unit to expedite setup.

Air can move freely through the Cambro CBU215464V4580 starter shelving unit's louvered shelf surfaces, creating the ideal storage environment for perishables while eliminating buildup of moisture and dust. Camguard® antimicrobial agent is molded into the shelves to slow bacterial growth between cleanings to protect stored contents from contamination. When the shelves become dirty, they can be wiped down, removed, and cleaned in a warewasher for sanitizing.
