The shelves' vented structure prompts airflow across their gapped surfaces and around product, which is necessary for storing perishable goods properly. Air circulation also eliminates dust and moisture buildup to protect stored contents from exposure to contaminants. Camguard® antimicrobial agent is molded into the shelf plates, inhibiting bacterial and fungal growth, which could create malodors and stains between standard cleanings. When the shelves need to be sanitized, they can be removed and washed in a dishmachine.
