The Cambro CBU214864V4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit measures 48 inches wide by 21 inches deep by 64 inches high and features four tiers of vented shelf plates. Four composite posts support this unit, and the posts are fitted with leveling feet to balance the unit on irregular surfaces that could cause the shelving system to rock or wobble when heavy items are loaded or retrieved. Because it's designed for use in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, it can be stored in freezers, coolers, pantries, and dishrooms to accommodate storage requirements for various products. Post connectors and wedges come preassembled to save time during installation.

Because each shelf in the Cambro CBU214864V4580 starter shelving unit has a louvered surface, air can travel through the gapped structures and move around product, eliminating moisture and dust buildup over time. Perishables and bagged or boxed items can be stored on the 48-inch-wide by 21-inch-deep shelves. As stock is rotated, the shelves can be raised or lowered along the composite posts to accommodate various products. To protect stored contents from contaminants, the shelves have a rust- and corrosion-resistant polypropylene construction that contains Camguard® antimicrobial protection to inhibit bacterial growth, preventing stains and odors. These shelves also can be wiped clean, removed, and sanitized in a warewasher as needed.
