Dexter Russell S145-8Y-PCP Description
Ideal for slicing, dicing, mincing, and chopping, the Dexter Russell S145-8Y-PCP Sani-Safe® chef's knife is shaped for all-purpose prep work. Its blade is tapered to a point to support fine work with mincing and dicing, while the wide blade portion accommodates heavy chopping and separating. To ensure fine and heavy prep tasks are comfortable, the blade is curved with a sharp edge to promote an ergonomic rocking motion while cutting. The blade is made of heavy-duty high-carbon steel and is sealed to the polypropylene handle to promote sanitation without creating hard-to-clean crevices. Because the handle is textured, it creates a secure, slip-resistant grip. This knife's handle comes in yellow—a color that can be integrated into color-coded prep systems.
