The wide section of the handle ensures chopping is effective, while the tapered design to the point accommodates mincing, dicing, and other fine work. This blade has a sharp, curved design that promotes effortless movement in a traditional rocking motion. Because it's made of high-carbon steel, the blade is strong and corrosion resistant. It's sealed to the white handle to eliminate cracks and crevices. Made of polypropylene, the handle has a slip-resistant texture.
