Hatco S-9 Description
Finished with a hammertone coating, the Hatco S-9 Imperial booster heater has a corrosion-resistant, durable exterior. Its stainless steel cover offers access to the interior from the front, so the unit can be serviced without being moved. Operators control the heater from the front with a power switch and can monitor it with the pilot light. The preset thermostat is adjustable, accommodating both high- and low-temperature warewashers. For component protection, a high-temperature limit switch cuts off the power if the temperature gets too hot.
This Hatco S-9 water booster heater has a 16-gallon storage capacity. On the inside, the tank is covered in Castone®, preventing corrosion buildup, and on the outside, fiberglass insulation holds heat inside the tank to increase efficiency. Both the elements and thermostat are submerged in water to speed up recovery times, and if the water level falls too low, the elements turn off to prevent burnout.
