Hatco S-9 Description
Designed to be hooked up to a dishmachine, the Hatco S-9 Imperial booster heater raises water temperatures for the final, sanitizing rinse. Its thermostat is preset to 180 degrees Fahrenheit, great for high-temp machines, but this level can be adjusted to 140 degrees to accommodate low-temp dishmachines. If the internal temperature ever grows too high or the heating elements are exposed to air, the heater automatically shuts off, preventing irreversible damage.
With a hammertone finish, stainless steel cover, and Castone®-lined tank, this Hatco S-9 water booster heater is protected against corrosion. This design helps the unit endure water constantly running through it in a commercial environment. For operator safety, the temperature and pressure are tracked with gauges, and a relief valve and pressure reduction valve help ensure they stay at the correct level.
