Hatco S-9 Description
The Hatco S-9 Imperial booster heater supplies dishwashers with the hot water needed for the final sanitizing cycle. In an hour, it can raise 90 gallons of water by 40 degrees Fahrenheit, bringing it to the 180-degree point needed for high-temp dishmachines, and because its thermostat is adjustable, this unit can be used with low-temp dishmachines as well. Users can control the unit from the front, which offers access to its thermostat adjustment screw, high-temp limit switch, power switch, and pilot light.
This Hatco S-9 water booster heater's exterior is constructed of durable, hammertone-coated metal and stainless steel for its front service-access cover. The interior holds a 16-gallon-capacity tank that is lined in Castone® for corrosion protection. Fiberglass insulation surrounds the tank, keeping heat away from the electronics, and if the internal temperature gets too high, the unit shuts down automatically to prevent permanent damage.
