Hatco S-15 Description
To add strength, the Hatco S-15 Imperial water heater has a hammertone finish and stainless steel front. The unit stands on 6-inch legs that raise it off the floor to prevent overheating. For convenience, internal components are located behind the front cover, meaning this heater can be installed beside a warewasher without blocking the service area.
This Hatco S-15 water booster heater features a large, 16-gallon tank, and for durability, that tank is covered in heat-trapping fiberglass on the outside and lined with corrosion-resistant Castone® on the inside. Elements quickly heat up the water at a maximum rate of 151 gallons per hour, though this value depends on how much of a boost the water needs to reach 180 degrees Fahrenheit. If the water needs a high 70-degree boost, the unit can only heat 86 gallons each hour.
