Hatco S-13 Imperial Booster Water Heater, 16 Gallon, 13 1/2 kW, 240v/1ph

The Hatco S-13 Imperial electric water booster heater uses a built-in heat trap and fiberglass insulation to keep energy inside the tank. Equipped with a 16-gallon storage capacity, this unit provides as much as 135 gallons per hour at a 40-degree-F rise for sanitizing rinse water. At those temperatures, flatware and dishes air-dry almost instantly, saving time and money. The thermostat, which is preset to 180 degrees Fahrenheit, can be lowered to 140 degrees Fahrenheit for low-temperature dishmachines.

Accessible through the front, the service area ensures efficient installation. Two gauges on the unit let users monitor the temperature and pressure, while the indicator light lets them know whether the unit is heating or not. To support safe operation, this booster also includes a temperature/pressure relief valve, a pressure reducing valve, and a high-temperature limit control. The Hatco S-13 electric booster water heater is pre-wired and pre-plumbed with a ³⁄₄-inch NPT water inlet and outlet.
