Hatco S-13 Description
Great for low- and high-temperature dishwashers, the Hatco S-13 Imperial water heater's thermostat can be adjusted to 140 or 180 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on what is needed. Both the elements and the thermostat are immersed in water, providing fast heat-up and response times. To preserve the elements, they only run when enough water is in the tank, and to protect internal components, the elements shut off if temperatures get too high.
This Hatco S-13 water booster heater has a 16-gallon-capacity tank, and surrounded by a layer of fiberglass, the tank holds heat in to increase energy efficiency. Coated with Castone®, the tank's interior resists corrosion and limescale buildup, while the durable exterior has a stainless steel front and hammertone finish. Plastic legs raise the unit off the floor to protect it from spills and to reduce the risk of overheating.
