Hatco S-12 Description
The Hatco S-12 Imperial booster water heater provides 120 gallons of sanitizing water per hour and stores 16 gallons. Although its water reaches the standard temperature of 180 degrees Fahrenheit, the thermostat can be adjusted to a 140-degree-Fahrenheit setting to accommodate low-temperature dishwashers. In the tank, heat is maintained by fiberglass insulation, a built-in heat trap, a temperature valve, and a pressure-reducing valve.
The Hatco S-12 imperial booster water heater can be serviced conveniently from the front. This pre-wired and pre-plumbed unit is protected by a high-temperature limit switch and a low-water cut-off, preventing heating elements from burning out. The pilot indicator light informs operators when service is needed. To ensure this booster operates at maximum capabilities, two gauges can be used to monitor temperatures.
