Hatco C-9 Description
The Hatco C-9 compact booster water heater provides water heated to 180 degrees Fahrenheit, which is required for sanitizing and flash-drying flatware and dishes. Heat levels are controlled by a calibrated immersion thermostat, and the fiberglass insulation ensures that tank temperatures remain at optimal levels. To make sure it runs correctly, this booster heater has both a pressure relief valve and a pressure reducing valve. For maintenance purposes, the stainless steel front panel swings away from the unit, granting access to probes and elements.
Some safety features included in this booster are a low-water cut-off and a high-temperature limit control, both of which protect internal components from damage. The pilot indicator light on the Hatco C-9 compact booster water heater informs the user that the unit is operating at peak efficiency. Straightforward to use, this unit can be turned off and on by the push of a switch, and with a hammertone, powder-coated body, this unit is suitable for use in commercial kitchens. Its Castone®-lined tank helps prevent limestone and corrosion from forming.
