Hatco C-9 Description
The Hatco C-9 compact booster heater provides water for the dishmachine sanitizing cycle at 180 degrees Fahrenheit, as its tank has a 6-gallon storage capacity. To enhance durability, the tank is lined with a cement-like substance called Castone® that resists corrosion and scale buildup. For strength and corrosion resistance, this booster has a swing-away front panel made of heavy-duty stainless steel.
Fiberglass insulation in the heater keeps heat inside the tank to improve energy efficiency. Ensuring the system runs properly, power to the heating element shuts off when the water level is too low. Flow pressure is regulated and stabilized by the pressure-reducing valve, and this Hatco C-9 compact booster heater uses a pilot light to show whether the unit is on or off.
