Hatco C-15 Description
The Hatco C-15 compact booster heater warms water to the sanitizing temperature required for commercial dishwashers, which is 180 degrees Fahrenheit. To resist limescale and corrosion buildup, the 6-gallon-capacity tank is lined with Castone®, and fiberglass insulation retains heat in the tank for energy efficiency. A switch enables the unit to be turned on or off as needed, and when warming, an indicator light notifies the user. Made of hammertone, its body is durable, while its front panel is stainless steel to resist corrosion.
To help it operate safely, the Hatco C-15 booster heater has several features, such as a high-temperature limit that shuts it down if it grows too hot, preventing heat damage. Temperature and pressure are monitored by gauges, and a relief valve releases water if the pressure gets too intense. A low-water cut-off feature prevents the heater from warming without enough water, which can lead to overheating. Through the swing-away front panel, the elements, fuses, and probes can be accessed for maintenance.
