MoTak MSD-2DR-BAL-X Description
The MoTak MSD-2DR-BAL reach-in refrigerator has a durable stainless steel front and sides for simplified cleaning in addition to a corrosion-resistant aluminum interior. When opened to 90 degrees, the doors close automatically, though if they are opened farther they remain so for convenient stocking. Stored items sit on six PVC-coated, corrosion-resistant shelves, and because the shelves are made of wire, air can flow around product for even cooling.
To keep cold temperatures, a capillary tube system controls the flow of R290 refrigerant. Users can program the unit to hold a temperature between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit and check the current level on the external digital display. This MoTak MSD-2DR-BAL two-section refrigerator has a removable rear panel that makes it easier to access components for cleaning and service. The compressor's location at the bottom of the unit enables it to operate in the coolest part of the kitchen, which can improve efficiency and reduce run times.

Stopped working in less than 2 months
purchased June 20th and stopped working in less than 2 months installed and used.
I've only had it for about a month, so far I am satisfied!
I have a charcuterie board business! I've only had it a short time, however it has met my expectations as for space for several large boards and inventory.

Minor problem with locking mechanism/ overall good product
I am using this to store vegetables picked from the classroom market garden. It's seems to be rather sturdy certainly does the job cooling. Only issue was the locking mechanism on the one door was rotated such that you could not remove the key with the locking bar engaged. Had to remove front panel and realign and now all works fine. Small detail.
I would recommend this to every restaurant owner!

Good Purchase
I have a cafe and during business hours I'm in this cooler every two minutes. It stays cool, doors always shut, it's illuminated very nice and lowest point to reach down is knee high. This past weekend I accidentally left 10 lbs of Swiss cheese unwrapped on top tier of the cooler from Saturday at noon till Monday at noon. I was expecting the product to be dried out and ruined but the humidity was obviously perfect and no air flow the cheese was still perfect, I was impressed. I've had this cooler over a year now and this is one time I'm totally happy with not going with a pricey product. It's easy to clean inside and out. I had a quick question about the cooler I couldn't readily find and called Katom customer service and spoke with a lady, Stormee. She gave me quick info and understood exactly what I was trying to ask! It leaks water around the doors..The repair man says it is cheaply made, does not have heaters to keep the water from running down the front of the fridge
Efficient economy option
My previous reach in refrigerator had died and I needed one ASAP. I didn't want to buy a used product and really didn't have the budget for a top named unit. The order process was easy and it arrived quickly. I have only had it for a few weeks, but so far so good. After installing the wheels, I put it in place and plugged it it and within an hour or so it was reading 34 degrees. It keeps a consistent temperature between 34 and 36 and the price was right.
This fridge works OK.
The size is great, the unit has a hard time maintaining the set temperature. Ours is set at 34 F but now and then it goes all the way up to 39 before it starts cooling again.
Wouldn't Buy it Again
In a medium sized restaurant. Worked great 4 months- then froze up. Had repairman check it out and was baffled. Loses 5° every time the door is opened. Not designed for use on a busy cooking line.
