**GREAT PRICE** GREAT QUALITY***

I recieved mine a few days ago and it was a wondorful suprise! It took about 20 minutes from uncrating to firing up the grill. Very easy to convert to propane use. This is constructed extreemly well for the price. I would compare it to grills costing 3-5 times as much. Don't miss out! I would purchase now before the price goes up!

Disappointed with Motak Fryer

I purchased a Motak fryer, expecting the quality and reliability that I've always associated with Katom, the parent company. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. The fryer arrived with a major issue: the pilot light wouldn't stay on. I reached out for help and opened a support ticket on March 19. Since then, I've sent multiple emails, but all I've gotten are empty promises of resolution dates that come and go without any action. To date, the issue remains unresolved, and I'm still left without a functioning fryer. What's most frustrating is that they seem to not understand how crucial the fryer is to my operations. We didn't buy it just to look at - we actually need it. All I keep hearing is "sorry," but sorry doesn't fix the problem or make my business run any smoother. I bought this fryer because I trusted the Katom brand, but now I regret it. The lack of timely support has made me question whether Motak is worth the investment. I hope this issue is addressed soon, but at this point, I can't recommend this fryer based on my experience.

Oven Pilot Goes Out. Thermocouple Issues.

I bought this oven in February 2022. I have had this thing repaired three times now, costing me more than 2x what I paid for the oven itself. Junk quality in my opinion.

Space between shelves is a huge issue, Fridge good

The space between the shelves is too small for our purposes. When we reach inside, our hand or tongs cannot reach the front of the case to the products. This makes it inconvenient and unwieldy to dispense items. The cooling system at the top gets in the way. If this were elsewhere on the fridge, we could move the shelves up and be able to reach without any issue. Shelves are also loose and often move out of place. The actual fridge itself is good! Cools well. Also, make sure to read the return policy! They do not take returns even for a restocking fee if the item has been used. Its a heavy item so we are basically stuck with it.

Great Freezer, Great Price!

I ordered on of these freezers due to our limited budget, but have not been disappointment. No issues at all after 4 months of use. In fact, we called this week and ordered two more. Thank you Katom for providing excellent products that meet our budget.

Probably not

It came scratched up a little here and a little there. The top, lit up sign sags in the middle, and rubs against the doors that open. We had to rig it to make it "work". The lit up display on top is also not made to place a sign in it...it's made to stay as is.

I would not buy this agian

First day already have problem too cool then too hot the temperature control messes up. Call for complaint, then service man come out could not fix it, need to order new pass. Is have been for 2 weeks my food such as fresh product frozen then the temperature got up to 70 degrees my fresh meat get bad. I want to be returned but i have to paid for ship it back, and 25% restore fee. This is not my intent for returned this product is not reliable. the until was not insolation good the cool air leak cost the water outside the unit

Not even one week after using

This fryer stopped working one week after use. Turns on but shutd off after a minute and pilot kicks off too. Not happy

Motak Griddle: Affordable Excellence with Innovative Feature

I gave the Motak griddle a five-star rating, initially hesitant due to the low price, but it exceeded my expectations. The thermostat feature is excellent, making it easy to control without manual work. The heat distribution is a little uneven, hotter at the back and cooler at the front, but I found it beneficial for my cooking style. There's a 25 degree difference in thermostatic controls and its manageable, considering I cook inside a food truck with drafts. The lack of a bottom plate allows easy lighting, but drafts can affect heat distribution. The stainless steel surface is efficient, food doesn't stick like other low priced griddles, and cleaning is a breeze. The 36-inch griddle with thermostat control appears to have lower gas consumption compared to a manual 24-inch griddle. Overall, it's a well-priced investment, especially for those exploring equipment before making a more significant investment in the future. I will keep this, no need to buy a high-end griddle.

I am buying a second one

My installer said it is a great machine at a great price, he couldn't touch this price and said it is well-designed and will be easy to clean and service when needed. The packaging was solid, driver was great. All in all it's been the best buy we've made in the last few weeks since we purchased the business. We can buy another one cheaper than having our second machine serviced.

Don't b uy this brand or you'll be sorry!

I've owned this brand before in two restaurants and it's awful with water leaks, bad seals, stops cooling and spoils food, and the temp reader never seems to work correctly as compared to the manual one we place to test settings, as mandate by the Health Department for accurate temperatures. Unfortunately it's a poor quality product that's being discounted by Ka-Tom because of customer complaints. Spend a little more and buy a unit that will be reliable for years. Ka-Tom offers better ones in stock. In regards to the warranty, it's worthless since it's run by a third party company that takes forever to fix your unit. If you're in business to make money, stay away from this manufacturer. We've had the 27 inch and 30 inch and all had the same issues and problems.

We bought this for our Church kitchen. It is a significant upgrade for us and we are very pleased with the range.

Economy Prep Table well worth it.

This prep table is just like the expensive one I just replaced. Has lots of space and chills the food to temp. Easy to clean, especially with wheels.

When I need to purchase other appliances KaTom is the place

Beware.

I am sure this is a decent fridge. We have had ours for 6 months. Within the first month it was freezing up and required constant manual defrosting. That only lasted about two weeks and now is not operating. We have called and emailed with the warranty company and it has yet to be fixed. It is currently an expensive prep table. Beware purchasing this company as we have spent 3 to 4 months trying to get ours fixed.

Perfect if it doesn't leak

Everything else was fine, but it was leaking inside and the floor that had been leaking for a few days was full of water，and don't know how to solve the problem.

GREAT TABLE and Inexpensive

We are a highly rated restaurant in Daytona Beach. We are a small, all family restaurant with high standards. Our Pizza prep table was leaking so we were looking for an inexpensive replacement at KaTom where we always go for great prices. WE found this table and have had it for a couple of weeks and are very happy with it's performance. We have cut out major searches and now go directly to KaTom for the best prices. Thanks KaTom.

No wishing I brought a different stove

Pilot goes out offen andGriddle pilot never stay lite. Oven rt side goes out bit need to keep lighting 2nd oven pilot next came on because it been ship from a different state next no result. Wish I would've look for a stove other places but their rating was very good. Stove wasn't cheap sometimes feeling I only brought a stove with just burner never ever use 2nd oven and griddle. To ship it back it would be impossible that why you buy local.

This is a monster of a fryer

Our Men's group is going to do a 350 person catfish fry fundraiser, we boiled out the fryer, got it ready and was totally impressed with the speed of heating and weight of this fryer.

Everything is great, couldn't ask for anything better.

I would buy again......it is early though.

It is early but so far so good. Installation instructions were not great but we figured it out.

Excellent machine

If you are looking for a nice little machine and can live with only a one year warranty this rebranded Manitowoc ice machine is what you want. This makes ice quickly just like it should. This replaced an older Scotsman machine which took forever to make ice. This was installed at 4pm yesterday and was full and off when checked at 8am this morning.

This product arrived with slight damage to the side panel. I am having trouble keeping the pilot light on. The pilot light goes out on high limit. We are having to relight the pilot frequently. When it is on it work very well.

High quality

Very well built. Good fit and finish. High quality materials. Solid feel. I added a pilot stricter for the oven so I would not need to dismantle it for lighting as this is going into a food truck. Great price. I'd highly recommend this.

Amazing

I cook at a small "not for profit" organization and this weekend as the trial run for our new stove. Amazing! Absolutely amazing. Both ovens cook evenly, each burner adjusted easily and cleanup was a snap with the removable crumb trays. Fantastic product at an unbelievable price that will serve our needs for to come.

Issues with tray overflow immediately and consistently

This unit overflowed it condensate tray within a week and does on a regular basis - regardless of intensity of use, ambient temperature, and any other environmental changes we've noticed. It constantly drips on the floor and puts off a lot of heat from it's vents. Would not recommend.

Wouldn't Buy it Again

In a medium sized restaurant. Worked great 4 months- then froze up. Had repairman check it out and was baffled. Loses 5° every time the door is opened. Not designed for use on a busy cooking line.

This product is the talk of my outdoor kitchen when guests come by to grill out. It is gorgeously designed. I have friends that are chefs and they don't even have a flattop this nice at work. Cooks evenly and thermostatic controls allow even eggs to be cooked without heating to fast. Awesome! Thanks KaTom Will be purchasing more from you!!

Not sure I'd buy again

Came with a ding in the front door hidden behind the 1/4" plywood protection. Ice forms at the top corner of the doors, the center divider on the exterior condensates and drips water on my floor. The freezer makes a whistling sound after you close the door as if the freezer is going into a vacuum seal at which time you cannot open the doors.

An excellent refrigerator and a great price

I was impressed with the way the refrigerator was crated; it arrived in perfect condition. The interior shelving is completely adjustable and firmly attached to prevent dislocating a shelf. The unit came to temperature quickly and is of a size that can hold multiple sheet pans and many other items. The unit also looks great in our kitchen!
