MoTak MSD-2DF-BAL-X Description
The MoTak MSD-2DF-BAL two-section reach-in freezer has six PVC-coated, adjustable shelves that hold products at adjustable heights. For loading and unloading product, the two solid, swinging doors stay open at 90 degrees. If opened to a shorter angle, the doors self-close to prevent them from being accidentally left open.
Items stored in this MoTak MSD-2DF-BAL freezer stay between -10 and 0 degrees Fahrenheit, providing optimal holding for ice cream, meats, produce, and other frozen goods. The temperature can be monitored easily via the digital exterior display. The system has a capillary tube evaporator that uses R290 refrigerant to maintain temperatures within the cabinet. The exterior of this two-door freezer is made of stainless steel on the front, top, and sides, with an aluminum back and interior.

Good product, well built
We have various dinners throughout the season and having this much freezer space allows us to buy in quantity. There are some minor dings in the side where there was no damage to the box. Still waiting for reply about adjustment.
Great Freezer, Great Price!

Stopped cooling in 3 months.
Repair man said it has a freon leak from the factory and that there is no easy way to troubleshoot it. Says it should be replaced because it will cost more to troubleshoot than to replace. I hope Katom/Motak stand behind the product and take care of this. Waiting to hear.
Nice freezer.
Some one took the protective film off and one of the locks is on backwards. But it keeps things frozen and that's what I want.
Issues with tray overflow immediately and consistently
This unit overflowed it condensate tray within a week and does on a regular basis - regardless of intensity of use, ambient temperature, and any other environmental changes we've noticed. It constantly drips on the floor and puts off a lot of heat from it's vents. Would not recommend.
Not sure yet. I believe the seal may be bad.
Has been in for a few days now and it has a lot of condensation for I go on exterior doors. I am having it checked out tomorrow. First piece of equipment that I purchased through Katom that I may have an issue with. I will give it a high rating because I am confident that this matter will be resolved by Katom or manufacturer

The freezer is working great. One issue is that I t had a little damage on the bottom in the Back from shipping and I filed a clam with no response yet.

We ordered our freezer from KaTom on a Monday, it was shipped on Tuesday and we received it early Friday morning. We were e-mailed instructions and phone numbers on what do if we had damage to freezer when we received it. The truck driver was very patient as we unpacked the freezer and inspected it for damages--. It was pack very well --not even a finger print on the freezer. I would give the review 10 stars but 5 is all they have listed. It may quit working tomorrow and I will regret writing this nice review---but right now it's working great.
