The Imperial IR-6 restaurant range features six PyroCentric™ burners on top. Each burner has its own separate, cast iron grate, which can be lifted to clean underneath. The grates have anti-clogging pilot shields to prevent grease from sliding into the flame. Because the grate tops are even, employees can slide pans from one burner to the next, or onto the landing ledge. For fast cooking, the rear grates are large enough to place pots directly over the flame and a hot air dam reflects heat from the back towards the burner. Employees can control the heat level using knobs on the front and, to prevent burns or slipping, these knobs feature Valox™ grips.
This Imperial IR-6 commercial gas range has a standard oven in its base. To distribute heat evenly, a baffle redirects heat from the linear burner and around the oven. The door is stamped to retain heat and all surfaces—except the ceiling—are porcelainized to create a smooth, nonstick interior. Equipped with a single rack, the oven can hold an 18-inch by 26-inch sheet pan by its length or width.
