Southbend PCE15S/SD-V Description
Part of the Platinum series, the Southbend PCE15S/SD-V convection oven is operated using the control panel located on the front right of the unit. The double-deck design of this unit results in two separate control panels to simultaneously perform different cooking functions. With two oven chambers, this unit can produce large batches of food product to meet high demand. The unit’s exterior is made of durable stainless steel, while the oven interior is made of enameled porcelain to aid in heat retention and lessen the appearance of wear.
Inside each oven cavity are five oven racks that can be adjusted to fit larger food pans. Each oven interior has coved corners to help improve airflow and provide simple cleaning. Each deck has two oven doors that work dependently to permit one-handed opening, and to keep a close eye on the cooking process, each door is windowed and both oven chambers come with interior lighting. A temperature range of 140 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit is achieved with a two-speed motorized fan. This unit is ventless, which permits users to install this oven in various locations in a kitchen or workspace without the need for a hood.
