Vulcan VC6ED Description

Equipped with five nickel-plated oven racks, the Vulcan VC6ED single-deck electric convection oven can cook several products at a time to support commercial use. Its nterior measures 29 inches wide by 26 1⁄8 inches deep by 20 inches high, and each of its oven racks measures 28 1⁄4 inches wide by 24 1⁄2 inches deep. The racks can be set in eleven positions with a position rack stop for different cooking needs. Heated by electric solid-sheath elements, the 1⁄2-horsepower, two-speed oven blower motor helps move hot air around product for uniform heating. With the unit's solid-state controls, users can adjust temperatures from 150 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, and a 60-minute timer audibly alerts the operator when cooking is finished to help prevent food from burning or undercooking.

To retain heat for back-to-back use, the Vulcan VC6ED electric convection oven’s top, rear, sides, bottom, and doors are made with non-sagging insulation. The unit’s temperature can also be lowered quickly with the integrated oven cool switch. Inside, the oven has a porcelain enamel construction that's easy to clean due to its smooth design. Overall, its front, sides, and top are made of stainless steel to withstand common wear from daily use, and it measures 40 inches wide by 46 1⁄4 inches deep by 54 3⁄4 inches high. Users can directly access product with the independently operated stainless steel doors, and double-pane windows enable operators to check on the cooking progress. For stability, it’s supported by 23 3⁄4-inch painted legs.
