Because the Cambro CPA244264VS4480 Camshelving® Premium add-on shelving unit includes a preassembled post kit with two steel and polypropylene posts, it must be attached to a Premium starter shelving unit for full stability. This 42-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep by 64-inch-high unit is comprised of a solid and vented shelf plates and has a 2,000-pound full-load capacity, despite each shelf's ability to support 800 pounds. So the Premium starter shelving doesn't have to be moved from its original storage space, the add-on unit endures temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit to withstand use in dishrooms, pantries, and walk-in coolers and freezers.
Three shelves in the Cambro CPA244264VS4480 add-on shelving unit are louvered, which prompts air to circulate freely around stored contents and reduce buildup of moisture and dust. The solid shelf has a sturdy surface that supports small, irregularly shaped products, towels and sheets, and goods that tend to leak. Though the shelves have structural differences, each measures 42 inches wide by 24 inches deep, has a corrosion-resistant polypropylene construction, and is treated with Camguard® antimicrobial to inhibit fungal growth. To maintain clean surfaces, the shelves can be wiped clean and sanitized in a dishmachine.
