With its louvered and solid shelves, the Cambro CPA243664VS4480 Camshelving® Premium add-on shelving unit increases storage options when combined with a Premium starter shelving unit. Its three vented shelves are built to promote uniform air circulation, while the solid shelf has a gapless structure to prevent leaky items from spilling onto other shelves. Each 36-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep shelf has a durable, corrosion-resistant polypropylene construction and accommodates 800 pounds, though loading the unit with more than 2,000 pounds could cause structural damage. The shelves also are treated with an antimicrobial protection agent that hinders bacterial growth between routine cleanings.

The Cambro CPA243664VS4480 add-on shelving unit includes the necessary hardware to fasten it to a starter shelving unit: eight traverses, molded-in dovetails, and a preassembled post kit with two steel and polypropylene posts. The add-on unit can be configured to the Premium starter unit in a straight line or in L, U, and T shapes to fit the allotted space. Once it's assembled, this unit measures 36 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 64 inches high, providing ample space for shelf adjustment. So it can be stored in the same space as the starter shelving system, it endures temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit.
