This Cambro CPA182464VS4480 Premium add-on shelving unit measures 24 inches wide by 18 inches deep by 64 inches high to fit a similarly sized Premium starter shelving unit. To speed up attachment to a starter shelving unit, a preassembled post kit, eight traverses, and molded-in dovetails are included. This hardware enables operators to configure the add-on shelving unit to the starter unit in T, L, and U shapes to fit cramped storage spaces. So the original unit doesn't have to be moved, the add-on unit can be stored in dishrooms, pantries, and walk-in coolers or freezers since it's safe in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit. For a cohesive appearance, the add-on unit is speckled gray.

With its one solid and three vented shelf plates, this four-tier Cambro CPA182464VS4480 add-on shelving unit provides two storage options to accommodate a wider product range than shelving units with only louvered or solid shelves. The solid shelf's flat surface supports irregularly shaped items, protects linens from creasing, and prevents leaky items from spilling onto other shelves or the floor. Air can pass through the three louvered shelves to eliminate moisture and dust accumulation and provide proper airflow for perishable goods. To protect stored items from contaminants, the shelves are made of corrosion-resistant polypropylene that contains an antimicrobial agent for slowed bacterial and fungal spread. Each shelf measures 24 inches wide by 18 inches deep and supports 800 pounds; however, the unit is built to hold a maximum of 2,000 pounds.
