With its solid and vented shelf plates, this Cambro CBU246084VS5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit provides two storage options. The solid shelf plate has a flat, gapless surface to support small items, product that tends to leak, and linens, while the louvered shelves' slotted structures encourage uniform airflow. Each shelf is made of rust- and corrosion-resistant polypropylene and treated with Camguard® antimicrobial to slow fungal and microbial spread between standard cleanings. Operators can configure the shelves along the 84-inch-tall composite posts to accommodate product sizes and loads. While the top shelf can support 400 pounds, each lower shelf has a 600-pound capacity, and to preserve the unit's structural integrity, it shouldn't be loaded with more than 1,800 pounds.
