The Cambro CBU186084VS5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit provides two shelving options to accommodate a diverse range of product. Its single solid shelf plate can support items that tend to leak since its flat surface contains spills, and it won't crease linens and towels. The four louvered shelves' gapped surfaces encourage uniform airflow, which is necessary for storing perishables properly and eliminating moisture and dust. To protect stored contents from contaminants, the shelves' polypropylene construction resists scratching, peeling, rusting, and corroding, while built-in Camguard® antimicrobial protection agent inhibits fungal and bacterial growth that otherwise could create stains and odors.

While the top shelf of the Cambro CBU186084VS5580 starter shelving unit has a 400-pound capacity, each bottom shelf supports 600 pounds. To prevent overloading and structural damage, this unit shouldn't store more than 1,800 pounds. As inventory changes, the shelves can be raised and lowered along the four composite posts to accommodate a range of product sizes.
