Four composite posts support this 42-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep by 84-inch-high unit, and leveling feet built onto the posts' bottoms keep it balanced on sloped or uneven surfaces, reducing the risk of wobbling and rocking, which could cause stored contents to fall. This unit has a full-load capacity of 1,800 pounds; its top shelf can support 400 pounds, and each lower shelf has a 600-pound capacity. To expedite installation, its post connectors and wedges are preassembled, and traverses and dovetails are included.

Each tier of the Cambro CBU244284VS5580 starter shelving unit is made of corrosion- and rust-resistant polypropylene and features a brushed graphite color. Camguard® antimicrobial agent is built into the shelf plates to slow bacterial and fungal spread between regular cleanings.
